Beauty blinds the eye
when shining in
hypnotic radiance,
disguising the true features
of any imperfection.

Beauty deafens the ear
with futile efforts to listen
to the voice within,
only hearing sounds
of tantalizing nature.

Beauty can lull touch,
even the most acute,
trick it into blending
pleasure and pain,
love and hate, you not me.

Beauty births new smells
of adrenaline and laughter,
flushing caresses into nostrils
traveling through the body
in a forever journey.

But the taste of Beauty is sealed
with that first kiss.
Indulging equally
in sweetness or poison
of beautiful wildflowers.
