The hearts that bled for days
mourning your departure,
today get to rejoice.

The fingers glued in prayer
sending you off to heaven,
today get to embrace.

The eyes that cried the tears
Expressing much deep sorrow,
today get to glow joyous.

The Day of the Dead is coming.
A day of celebration,
a day of happiness,
a day of light,
a day joy.

Music, candles,
families together
in prayer and in thought
bring all generations,
dead and alive
together once more.
