I see your point, I do think it’s a little different in that it sounds more primal/sexual in context as in it being a competition of sorts with males, indicating virility and what that encompasses. My experience as a woman though is that we are seen as either the ones that will still another woman’s man, or as broken or damaged goods on a more holistic level. But again, I can only speak from my experience and what I have seen in others in general. You have made some valid points. Thank you again for taking the time to share!
