Very true indeed. I am currently experiencing profound feelings of grief and can attest to the fact that, as you said, it doesn’t matter how long you’ve know someone… it’s the impression they left, the depth of what was shared, and the fact that what was left to be shared (feelings, moments, etc) has no place to go.
